Redman Heritage Concert
Featuring Jazz legends Snooky Young and Sonny Cohn with Howard Burns Quartet.
84 years old Snooky Young has played professional over 60 years, working with the likes of Jimmie Lynceford, Count Bassie and Lionel Hampton .
78 years old, Sonny Cohn spent over three decades with the Count Bassie orchestra.

Time is 4:30p.m. to 6:30p.m.  Admission is free

The local branch will attend and participate in the Region 3 Leadership & Training Conference which will be held in Louisville, KY.  

Annual Blues Show

An Evening with Eddie Burns, with special guest Stack O' Blues featuring Pete Lancaster at the Cliffside Inn Ballroom 
in Harpers Ferry, WV
Advanced tickets are 10.00 for students 12.00 for adults
All tickets are $15 at the door. 
The program is held in conjunction with the Harpers Ferry Historical Association. All proceed will be used to underwrite the 100th anniversary of the Niagara Movement to be held in 2006.

Annual Black History / Soul Food Tasting Program
Sunday, February 23rd, 2003 at 3pm
The program will be held a the Asbury United Methodist Church in Shepherdstown, WV Immediately after the program there will be a free soul food tasting in the dining hall.
All of the food will be contributed by members of the community.


17th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Freedom Trail March
Sunday, January 12th, 2003 at 2pm
The March started at the Baltimore Temple King Apostle holiness Church at 513 W. 3rd Ave. in Ranson, WV, proceeded to the Wainright Baptist Church on South West St. in Charles Town. The Program at the church began at the conclusion of the March.
